Sustainability Reporting (ESG) Trainer - Lecturer

Location: Canada

The Center for Sustainability & Excellence (CSE) is a leading global education provider and consulting firm, specializing in sustainability with activities across North America, Europe, and other regions. CSE is a global partner with GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) and other organizations related to sustainability and ESG standards. We offer a variety of certified sustainability programs, including official GRI training and materials. With over 10 years of experience in Canada, CSE has trained more than 800 Canadian professionals in sustainability.

This role is based on remote work. The candidate will deliver sustainability reporting training programs based on GRI and other ESG standards, and will be available for client presentations and virtual meetings as needed. Compensation will be hourly, as part of a contractor agreement.

Minimum Requirements / Seniority

1. Certified GRI Trainer (from the Global Reporting Initiative) and other organizations (e.g., IFRS, CDP)
2. At least 4-5 years of experience as a professional trainer
3. 3-4 years of experience in consulting firms focusing on sustainability reporting and ESG standards
4. Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging C-suite executives and setting up presentations
5. Strong writing and communication skills
