Job description

If you have a passion for environmental impact and a track record of driving change, we’d love to have you on our team!

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement comprehensive sustainability strategies and action plans.
• Set sustainability targets, KPIs, and benchmarks to track progress and success.
• Lead and manage sustainability programs across multiple sites and departments.
• Monitor and report on ESG metrics, including energy consumption and waste production/reduction.
• Oversee data collection and reporting for sustainability platforms such as CDP and EcoVadis.
• Develop policies, procedures, and training programs to promote sustainability practices within the organization.
• Engage with R&D and Business Development to drive development and sales of key sustainable platforms
• Engage with Operations to develop and support actions aimed at energy efficiency, waste reduction, and recycling
• Collaborate suppliers and external organizations to drive sustainability initiatives and achieve corporate goals.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or Studies, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a sustainability or environmental position
• 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• 1+ year of experience advising on regulations or standards relevant to sustainability.
• 1+ years of experience in a position that required influencing teams and driving change within an organization

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or equivalent in a related field
• 3+ years of experience working with or studying sustainability principles, ESG reporting, and relevant best practices.
• 2+ years of experience in packaging or related field
• 3+ years of experience proficiently using Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word & Teams
• 1+ years of experience in project management or using project management skills, tools and technology
• 1+ year of experience effectively collaborating and communicating with both internal and external stakeholders
• 1+ years of experience analyzing and interpreting data

Additional Details:

• This position is 100% onsite

• This position requires occasional domestic and international travel up to 10% of the time

The compensation range provided is a general guideline only. Pay will be determined based on the candidate's experience and expertise and is subject to vary.
