Job summary

Gateway Casinos and Entertainment Limited is seeking a part-time Surveillance Operator to monitor gaming areas, ensuring security of customers, staff and assets. You will maintain continuous surveillance, identify irregular activity, and report findings to support investigations.

The role requires reliability, integrity and the ability to work evenings and weekends in a dynamic, security-focused environment across our Canadian locations.

• Reliable, diligent and high integrity required.

• Meticulous in all duties and able to write clear findings.
• Confident in judgement and reporting.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends.
• Experience with surveillance equipment is an asset.
• Table games knowledge is an asset.
• Comfortable in a dimmed, enclosed room near colleagues.
• Good vision for long computer sessions.
• Previous casino surveillance experience is an asset.

We are seeking a professional, reliable and committed Surveillance Operator who will ensure that laws, regulations and policies are followed by monitoring tables for any rule infractions.

Key Responsibilities

• Use audio and video equipment to maintain continuous surveillance of all gaming areas and property.
• Identify, record, document and report unusual or suspicious activity.
• Identify fraud and take appropriate action required by law and company policy.
• Monitor compliance and protect company assets and gaming integrity.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs, gather and submit information for detailed reporting.
• Assist with investigations.
