Job summary

Woodbine Entertainment Group is seeking an SSOC-Investigative Specialist to monitor surveillance in a 24/7 Security Surveillance Operations Center. You will investigate incidents, prepare reports, and coordinate with authorities while maintaining confidentiality and safety for guests and staff.

The role requires a background in law enforcement or security, strong investigative skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced entertainment environment.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in a related field of law or law enforcement.
• One to two years of experience.
• Must be able to use MS Office Suite.
• Experience with Genetec and CORE is strongly preferred.
• Must possess a valid Ontario Private Investigator License or Dual License.
• Must be able to obtain a racing AGCO license.
• First Aid/CPR training or certification.

Responsibilities

• Proactive monitoring of surveillance cameras and access controls; respond to unusual activity.
• Investigate incidents affecting racing integrity; coordinate with PX department when needed.
• Prepare reliable investigative reports and video evidence for potential legal action.
• Attend court hearings and provide evidence or observations as required.
• Liaise with police and law enforcement agencies; work with SSOC and security staff.
• Document investigations and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
