Job summary

Woodbine Entertainment Group in Etobicoke, Ontario seeks an Investigative Specialist for a part-time role in our security operations. The position requires proactive monitoring of CCTV, motion alarms and access control, with investigation and reporting to protect guests and staff.

Responsibilities include real-time monitoring, incident investigations, and coordination with law enforcement. Candidates should have post-secondary education in law/enforcement and an Ontario Private Investigator

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in a field related to law or enforcement.
• 1–2 years of relevant security/investigation experience.
• Must possess Ontario Private Investigator license or dual license; must obtain a racing AGCO license.

Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV, alarms and access controls in real time and report unusual activity.
• Investigate and document incidents and prepare defensible reports for potential legal action.
• Attend court/hearings and provide evidence or observations as required.
• Coordinate with police, AGCO investigators and other law enforcement agencies.
• Assist with security measures, risk assessments and incident response.
• Log shift activities and communicate emergencies clearly.
