Fraser Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Surgical team at Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster. You will contribute to a dedicated, experienced team and support a patient‑centered care approach.

This role offers exposure to the Royal Columbian Hospital Redevelopment Project and the opportunity to strengthen your nursing practice within a collaborative interprofessional care team.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with BCCNM.
• ABI procedures training may be required after completing Fraser Health course.
• Ability to deliver patient-centered nursing care in acute medical units.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients, plan care, and coordinate nursing interventions.
• Collaborate with families and interprofessional team on care plans.
• Assist in discharge planning and referrals as needed.
• Coordinate nursing care, delegate tasks, and monitor patient comfort.
• Provide patient education and support learning needs.
