Job summary

A healthcare facility in Timmins is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Surgical Department. Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program and hold a current nursing certificate.
• Experience in urology, gynecology, respiratory, orthopedic, and general surgery is preferred.
• Must have had at least one dose of the COVID vaccine.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care to surgical patients according to practice standards.
• Maintain privacy and confidentiality in line with hospital policy.
• Achieve and maintain organizational competencies.

Skills

Ability to perform independently nursing skills

Patient care experience

Basic Cardiac Life Support certification

Experience with surgical patients

Education

Diploma or Baccalaureate in Nursing

Current Certificate of Competence from College of Nurses of Ontario
