Job summary

TADH is seeking a part-time porter to support the SPD and Operating Room teams. The role involves transporting instruments and devices, maintaining confidentiality, and helping ensure a safe, compliant environment. You will work with a multidisciplinary team and participate in ongoing education sessions.

Starting pay is $25.76/hour with an annual range of $50,232 to $53,040 CAD, reflecting a 22.5 hour work week. Ontario vaccination guidelines apply as per policy.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and French required.
• Grade 12 education and ability to read/write in English.
• Good organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Porter instruments and medical devices to and from OR and SPD.
• Maintain confidentiality of hospital and patient information.
• Ensure a safe working environment per OH&S guidelines.
• Participate in unit education/in-services.
• Maintain a professional image on and off the unit.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Establish and maintain good relationships with staff and physicians.
