Temporary Full-Time Appendix D Support Staff, replacement contract position (3-month contract)
The Support Services Officer (SSO) provides administrative, operational, and student support services for Continuing Education and Part-Time Studies. Working in a multi-campus environment, the incumbent delivers accurate, timely, and professional support to students, faculty, program leaders, and external partners.
The SSO coordinates key academic and administrative processes, including faculty contracts, teaching assignments, course scheduling, budgeting, quality assurance activities, and program planning. As a primary point of contact for student and academic inquiries, the incumbent works collaboratively with Chairs, Program Managers, and college departments to resolve issues, improve processes, and support a positive student experience.
Successful candidates will be required to conduct work within Ontario and must be available to work on campus as required. It is anticipated that this position will meet the needs of the department through a hybrid work arrangement, Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with three days on‑site at Conestoga’s Doon campus, located at 299 Doon Valley Dr. in Kitchener, and two days remote.
