We are searching for a casual (no guaranteed hours)Support Services Attendant to join our new Garraway Hallteam based in Moncton, New Brunswick.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team in a multi-functional role that includes housekeeping, and food service duties. The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents while ensuring high standards in food service and laundry care.

Housekeeping:

  • Clean and sanitize resident rooms, common areas, and restrooms.
  • Sweep, mop, dust, and disinfect surfaces following established procedures.
  • Empty trash and ensure proper disposal of garbage and recyclables.
  • Maintain supplies in resident rooms and common areas.
  • Promote and adhere to workplace safety and infection control protocols.

Food Service:

  • Assist with meal preparation, portioning, and service while ensuring dietary requirements are met.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas.
  • Wash and store dishes, utensils, and food preparation equipment.
  • Monitor food temperatures and report any issues promptly.
  • Prepare and distribute snacks and beverages as required.

About You

In addition to placing high value on continuous improvement, collaboration and accountability, you bring:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education;
  • Ability to provide an active copy of First Aid & CPR or BLS;
  • Previous experience in housekeeping, food service, or laundry (preferred);
  • Ability to communicate in English is required, French is considered an asset;
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and follow infection control practices;
  • Previous experience in working in a long-term care facility is an asset.
