We are searching for a Support Services Attendant to join our Elk Court Team based in Brookfield, Nova Scotia.

About the Opportunity
  • Dust, clean, and polish furniture, counters, walls, and window/door ledges.
  • Clean sinks, toilets, and bath facilities.
  • Replenish supplies in resident rooms, nursing units, and restrooms.
  • Empty and clean trash receptacles and manage waste disposal.
  • Sort laundry by type (linens, mops, clothing).
  • Operate washing machines, dryers, and extractors properly.
  • Sort, count, and organize clean laundry; label resident clothing appropriately.
  • Deliver laundry within the facility, ensuring proper handling and care.
  • Inspect laundry for damages and forward items needing repair.
About You
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • At least one year of experience in commercial housekeeping and/or laundry preferred.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work days, weekends, and holidays.
