About the Opportunity
  • Thoroughly clean common areas including lobbies, hallways, and stairwells
  • Sweep, mop, dust, vacuum, and sanitize kitchens and bathrooms
  • Thoroughly clean vacant rooms to prepare for incoming residents
  • Collect refuse from residents' rooms and dispose of it according to procedures
  • Clean and restock housekeeping carts; notify Supervisor when supplies are low
  • Promote safety by identifying hazards, following safe work practices, wearing PPE, and supporting safety education
About You

In addition to valuing continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability, you bring:

  • A High School diploma or equivalent
  • A high level of initiative and commitment to completing housekeeping tasks efficiently and courteously
  • Good communication skills to meet the needs of internal and external customers
  • Ability to work independently and safely handle cleaning chemicals and equipment
  • Ability to provide a clear criminal record check upon hire
  • Previous housekeeping experience is an asset
  • A passion for healthcare and ensuring seniors have access to quality accommodations and care
