Job summary

Home Group is recruiting to support people with complex needs to live more independently and with dignity. You will lead and coordinate a team of Support Workers, balancing caseloads, safeguarding and admin while helping customers with daily tasks and moving towards community independence.

The role emphasises person-centred care and collaboration with multi-agency teams; a Level 3 Diploma in Care or equivalent is preferred, with opportunities to progress and develop within a values-driven

What You’ll Do

You have

• Passion and experience in supporting others ideally in a supported housing setting
• Level 3 Diploma in Care or equivalent experience (or are willing to work towards it)
• Experience assessing referrals and coordinating support
• The ability to work under your own initiative, remain calm under pressure and have a resilient approach

The practical bits

• You’ll work on a 5 weeks rolling rota, including a fair share of weekend, early shifts and late shifts.
• Based within our Sunderland services, with occasional cover provided across County Durham where needed.
• You need an Enhanced with barring list (we pay)
• A vehicle insured for business use (and a license!), we’ll pay for any business mileage
