Job summary

Nestlé Canada Inc is seeking a experienced Supply Planner to ensure product availability by generating net requirements, developing supply plans, and creating deployment plans weekly and monthly. You will balance customer demand with inventory targets and collaborate across functions to optimize supply chain performance.

The role requires LEAN experience, strong analytics tools proficiency (Power BI, Tableau, Excel), and 3+ years in supply planning or logistics.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Generate net requirements to plants and vendors and prepare supply plans aligned with demand forecasts.
  • Create deployment plans on weekly and monthly cycles to ensure replenishment of R&P materials and meet customer demand.
  • Manage the end-to-end (E2E) planning process within the SNP Network, ensuring service, inventory freshness, and inventory management KPIs are achieved.
  • Analyze planning exceptions and make informed business decisions based on priorities and supply constraints.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to optimize lot sizes, cycle times, and R&P inventory levels.
  • Drive optimal finished goods inventory levels while balancing service and cost objectives.
  • Support and collaborate with Demand Planners to improve forecast accuracy and planning effectiveness.
  • Optimize shipments and maintain continuity of supply between manufacturing operations.
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure efficient material flow and flawless execution of planning processes.
  • Utilize ERP and planning systems to monitor supply performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.

What to Expect:

As a Supply Planner, you will play a key role in ensuring product availability by generating net requirements for plants and vendors, developing supply plans, and creating deployment plans on a weekly and monthly basis. You will balance customer demand with inventory targets, network complexity, and supply constraints while proactively identifying and evaluating supply scenarios to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities. This is an existing vacancy.

A day in the life:
  • Generate net requirements to plants and vendors and prepare supply plans aligned with demand forecasts.
  • Create deployment plans on weekly and monthly cycles to ensure replenishment of R&P materials and meet customer demand.

  • Experience with OMP, SAP APO, and reporting tools such as Power BI.
  • Solid understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

Compensation Range: $80,000 - $90,000 + bonus eligibility
