The Trillium Lakelands District School Board seeks Supply Designated Early Childhood Educators to implement early learning programs in the Haliburton Area. Candidates will work alongside classroom teachers to create and supervise educational and age-appropriate activities.
Successful applicants must hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education, have relevant experience, and demonstrate strong communication, organization, and planning skills. The role requires the physical ability to assist children and reliable transportation. The compensation starts at $26.80 per hour.

Location: Haliburton Area
Under the direction of the Principal, the Designated Early Childhood Educator will partner with the classroom teacher to plan and implement a full day early learning program within a classroom setting and provide supervision and age‑appropriate programming for groups of students as part of the extended day program, as required. The Designated Early Childhood Educator will collaborate in the design of programs and environments which will enhance children’s cognitive, physical, social and emotional development.
Hours of Work: Up to 7 hours per day, Monday – Friday
Hourly Rate: Starting at $26.80 per hour
A clear or satisfactory current Vulnerable Sector Check is a mandatory requirement for all Supply positions.
