Supply Chain Specialist (Temporary 15 months)

As a Supply Chain Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring product availability while adapting to changing market needs.

Your Key Responsibilities :

  1. Ensure product availability by planning purchases (finished and bulk) from various suppliers (internal and third-party) aligned with global objectives. Follow up with suppliers and execute purchasing plans.
  2. Analyze and validate potential shortage reports, BO reports, and expiry dates.
  3. Present expected shortages or risks at weekly Customer Protect meetings.
  4. Respond to market demands (BIR) for business opportunities and share insights on supply impacts.
  5. Participate in lifecycle management projects to implement changes related to manufacturing sites, API suppliers, equipment, etc.
  6. Assist in preparing business reviews (S&OP) with suppliers to discuss market realities and prioritize for Canada.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 4-6 years of procurement experience, including at least 3 years as a buyer.
  • Advanced Excel skills required.
  • Proficiency in SAP.
  • Fluency in oral and written French is mandatory; English proficiency is also required for communication with international partners.
  • Autonomy and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Results-oriented with problem-solving skills and good time management.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment managing multiple initiatives.
  • Strong team spirit.
  • Knowledge of APO is an asset.
