Job description

Supply Chain Specialist (Temporary 15 months)

As a Supply Chain Specialist, you will have an essential role to ensure product availability while meeting changing market needs.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure product availability: Plan product purchases (finished and bulk) from various suppliers (internal and third parties) based on the level of service targeted for the portfolio in line with the Global objectives. Do follow ups with the suppliers and execute the purchasing plan.
  • Analyze and validate the potential shortage report, the BO report and expiry dates.
  • Present the expected shortages or risk at the weekly Customer Protect meeting.
  • Respond to market demands (BIR) for business opportunities and share opportunities or impacts on the supply.
  • Participate in the Life cycle management team projects to operationalize various changes (manufacturing sites, API suppliers, equipment, etc.).
  • Attend and help in the preparation of the business reviews (S&OP) with suppliers to present market realities and ensure Canada’s prioritization.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Bachelor of Administration, supply chain profile or another related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience in procurement including a minimum of 3 years as a buyer.
  • Advanced Excel skills required.
  • Master of the use of SAP.
  • Fluency in oral and written French is mandatory. Due to the nature of our operations, oral and written fluency in English is required for regular communication with customers, partners, and/or colleagues, whether in Canada or internationally.
  • Autonomy and excellent attention to detail.
  • Results-oriented, be in solution mode and good ability to manage time.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Good team spirit.
  • Knowledge of APO, an asset.
