We are seeking a Supply Chain Manager to join our Operations team. Reporting to the VP, Operations, you will be leading a team consisting of the Freight & Logistics Coordinator, Distribution Centre Manager, and Purchasing Specialist. You will play a critical role in optimizing supply chains and efficiencies, while maintaining cost-effectiveness, and uninterrupted operations to meet our growing business needs.

Join us in-person! This is a full-time in-office role located in our Waterloo office and does not offer a hybrid or remote work arrangement.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supply Chain Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with our business goals, focusing on cost, efficiency, risk management, and delivery success.
  • Procurement & Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of materials and services. This includes building strong supplier relationships.
  • Inventory Optimization & Demand Planning: Monitor inventory levels, optimize stock, and ensure accurate demand forecasting to prevent shortages or overstock.
  • Logistics & Distribution: Oversee warehousing, transportation, and distribution to ensure seamless operations, timely deliveries, and cost optimization.
  • Process Improvement & Cost Reduction: Drive cost reduction initiatives, optimize BOM (Bill of Materials) sourcing, and identify efficiencies in the procurement process to optimize supply chain operations and improve productivity.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to regulatory, environmental, and company policies. Manage risks related to suppliers, logistics, and supply chain disruptions.
  • ERP & Digital Supply Chain Management: Utilize ERP and supply chain analytics tools to enhance visibility, streamline procurement, and improve decision-making.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Finance, and other departments to align supply chain strategies with overall business needs.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), analyze data, and generate reports to drive continuous improvement.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or another related field
  • A minimum of five (5) years of proven experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management
  • Experience with people management and leadership, and the ability to foster a growth-based environment for your team
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and supply chain software; experience with NetSuite considered an asset
  • The ability to be nimble and adaptable within a changing and fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and vendor management skills
  • The ability to collaborate and communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with teams, vendors and stakeholders
  • The ability to lift up to 50lbs as required within the Warehouse
