Job summary

Food Service Solutions Canada is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, warehousing, and distribution. You will ensure efficient operations, cost control, supplier performance, and timely delivery to meet business and customer demands.

You will collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Operations, negotiate with suppliers, optimize warehouse layout, monitor KPIs, and develop contingency plans to reduce risk

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems and inventory management software.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proven leadership and team management abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors.
  • Monitor supplier performance, pricing, and service levels.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
  • Oversee inventory control processes and ensure accuracy.
  • Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or excess inventory.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics.
  • Ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of goods.
  • Monitor freight costs and carrier performance.
  • Work closely with Sales, Finance, and Operations teams.
  • Support production planning and customer order fulfillment.
  • Communicate supply chain risks and mitigation plans.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify supply chain risks and develop contingency plans.
  • Monitor KPIs and prepare regular performance reports.
  • Forecast demand and plan inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

The team partners directly with operators and their culinary leaders to streamline workflows, reduce costs, improve kitchen performance, and maximize equipment ROI by combining culinary expertise with deep equipment knowledge. Support extends across the full lifecycle of customer equipment, including after-sale assistance, parts, service, and warranty management for distributed brands. The head office, corporate test kitchen, and distribution center are located in Milton, Ontario, providing a central hub for innovation, demonstrations, and customer support.

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, warehousing, and distribution. This role ensures efficient operations, cost control, supplier performance, and timely delivery to meet business and customer demands.

What you will do:
