Job summary

Innovair Solutions Group is seeking a seasoned Supply Chain Manager in Calgary to lead sourcing, inventory, and logistics. The role emphasizes strategic supplier development, cost reduction, and building a robust, safe supply chain across North America and beyond.

The successful candidate will have 7–10 years in manufacturing supply chain with 3+ years in leadership, experience in regulated environments (ISO 9001 a plus), and familiarity with ERP/MRP implementations. Travel 5–10% is expected.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of relevant experience in supply chain, procurement, sourcing, logistics, or materials management within a manufacturing environment.
• At least 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience with strategic sourcing, commercial negotiations, supplier management, inventory control, material planning, warehousing, and cost reduction.
• Experience leading employees and building a strong shop-floor safety culture, including hazard identification, safe work practices, incident follow-up, and corrective action.
• Experience sourcing from North American and overseas suppliers and managing international freight, customs, brokers, tariffs, and import/export documentation.
• Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment; knowledge of ISO 9001, hazardous-location products, or pressure equipment is an asset.
• Experience with MRP systems or ERP/MRP system implementation is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies while managing relationships with North American and international suppliers.
• Oversee purchasing, materials planning, inventory management, and warehouse operations in support of production requirements.
• Coordinate supplier qualification and regulated supplier or component changes with Quality & Regulatory and Engineering.
• Own inbound and outbound logistics, customer shipping, transportation, customs, brokerage, and freight management.
• Manage carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other logistics providers.
• Ensure import, export, customs, and shipping documentation requirements are met.
• Maintain knowledge of Canadian, U.S., European, and other shipping requirements to support markets.
• Lead, coach, and develop the supply chain team while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Establish and monitor KPIs, mitigate supply risks, and drive cost optimization initiatives.
• Travel within North America and internationally as required, typically approximately 5–10%.

As a Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for leading all sourcing, inventory management, logistics, and shipping activities to ensure a reliable supply chain, optimize costs, and support the company's growth objectives. You will play a key role in supplier development, team leadership, and continuous improvement initiatives.

On a Daily Basis, You Will
