Job Description

As part of Vention's Procurement team, you will operate a global procurement network made of hundreds of suppliers and 2,000+ SKUs. You will be responsible for executing tactical, strategic, and development activities to promote a competitive advantage for Vention and support customer-driven needs. More specifically, you will:

• Execute the overall purchasing process from preparation and execution of tenders to order fulfillment, including screening of purchasing requisitions and issuance of purchase orders.
• Develop, issue, and analyze comprehensive RFx.
• Manage POs and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and quality compliance.
• Ensure effective engagement, collaboration, and cooperation with internal clients and suppliers.
• Identify and evaluate opportunities for cost reduction.
• Perform Total Cost of Ownership evaluations and supply-market research.
• Engage with key partners to establish deep supplier relationships.
• Understand the competitive landscape and market trends to identify business opportunities.
• Lead vendor, contract, and parts negotiations.
• Execute sourcing strategies and procurement plans to support Vention’s corporate and internal client strategies and objectives.
• Work collaboratively with internal clients, SMEs, and suppliers to define requirements, timing, and scope.

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical, mechanical, or industrial engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in a global procurement position.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in interdisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes and corporate governance principles.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships.
• Passion for negotiations and developing fact-based recommendations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with energy and enthusiasm.
• Business acumen with strong problem-solving skills, understanding cost breakdowns and drivers.
• Interest in engineering topics and curiosity to learn more.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset.
• APICS or SCMP certification is a plus.
