Job summary

Champion Petfoods is seeking a Data Analyst to support end-to-end supply chain operations, delivering data-driven insights and governance across multiple functions. The role is hybrid with 3 in-person days, based in Edmonton (AB) or Nashville (TN).

The ideal candidate has a cross-functional mindset, strong data skills in Excel/SQL/Python, and experience with Power BI. Food industry exposure is a plus, and a passion for continuous improvement is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in SCM, Analytics, Data Science, IE, or related field.
• Experience in supply chain analytics or data analysis, preferably in food/pet food.
• Proficiency with Excel, SQL, Python.
• Ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Experience with data visualization platforms (Power BI preferred).
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with machine learning or predictive modeling preferred.
• Experience with Generative AI development preferred.
• Familiarity with Databricks preferred.
• Understanding of End-to-End supply chain processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data across supply chain to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for process improvements.
• Identify supply chain performance gaps through data analysis and lead cross-functional improvement efforts.
• Develop and maintain real-time dashboards, data objects, and reports tracking key supply chain metrics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align analytics outputs with business needs.
• Communicate complex data insights clearly to stakeholders for data-driven decisions.
• Assist in deployment and continuous improvement of supply chain analytics tools and technologies.
