Supply Chain Associate

Location: 9 Basin Dr, Kearny, NJ 07032

Store: NJJER Public Store

Full-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 7:00am - 5:00pm

Overview:

Embark on a dynamic journey as a Full-time Supply Chain Associate, where every day offers a new opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of supply chain excellence. You will manage inventory and support business-to-business operations by handling procurement, sourcing, and quoting functions to meet customer needs and drive their business success. After onboarding and training, a flexible schedule may be available.

Responsibilities:

• Managing branch inventory levels
• Administering procurement functions, including purchase orders and backorder management
• Estimating/quoting prices and sourcing products
• Coordinating resources to respond to customer supply chain needs
• Supporting accounts receivable activities
• Making deliveries with a company vehicle as necessary
• Performing other duties to ensure branch success

Required Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet driving record requirements
• Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Management, Marketing, Sales, or related field, or relevant work experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Motivated, self-directed, customer service-oriented
• Strong math, attention to detail, and sense of urgency
• Organized, with good planning and prioritizing skills
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to lift packages weighing 25-50lbs, up to 75lbs
• Pass drug screen and background check as applicable
