Job summary

Fastenal Canada in Bathurst, NB is seeking an energetic branch associate to help customers, inspect deliveries, and manage inventory on-site. Training provided, no prior experience required, with emphasis on accuracy and customer service.

Responsibilities include selling merchandise, processing payments, handling inquiries, and maintaining organized stock while complying with company procedures. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are preferred.

• Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents
• Route goods to appropriate storage areas
• Pack goods to be shipped
• Unpack goods received
• Address customers' complaints or concerns
• Obtain and examine all relevant information to assess client feedback, enquiries and complaints in the delivery of meaningful information and services.
• Sell merchandise

• Operate computerized inventory record keeping and re-ordering systems

• Arrange for billing for services
