Job summary

West Fraser, a leading forest products company, is seeking a Supply Chain Application Analyst in Quesnel, BC. You will support, analyze, and develop technology that underpins our inventory and supply chain operations.

In this role, you will identify improvement opportunities, provide top-tier technical support, define solutions to business challenges, and lead projects deploying new technologies to drive competitive advantage. A CS or engineering degree is preferred.

• Four-year university or technical institute degree in computer science or engineering or equivalent work experience.

• Experience supporting or implementing enterprise inventory management technology is ideal.

As part of the IT group, this role will provide support, analysis, and development assistance for all technology that supports the inventory and supply chain areas of the business.

You have

• Four-year university or technical institute degree in the field of computer science or engineering or equivalent work experience
• Well-established organizational skills

• Experience supporting and implementing enterprise inventory management technology is ideal
• Experience with the following technologies will be considered an asset:
  • Trimble Forest Product – LIMS / WeighWiz
  • ERP Systems such as SAP, Oracle EBS, JDE, Microsoft Dynamics
  • Relational databases and corresponding tools
  • Programing languages such as: Java; .NET; Microsoft Visual Studio
  • Systems integration, interface design, data conversion and solution architecture

Compensation Package

The salary range for this position may vary depending on experience, education, and location. The salary range is between $75,000 - $105,000/per year.
