Job description

As a Supply Chain Analyst, you are responsible for analyzing and improving the supply chain operations of Breadfast. You will collect and interpret data on logistics, manufacturing, inventory, and other aspects of the supply chain to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and meet customer demands.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect and analyze data related to supply chain operations.
  • Prepare and present reports on supply chain performance metrics, including cost, efficiency, and service levels.
  • Identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement within the supply chain.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance supply chain processes, reduce costs, and improve service quality.
  • Analyze historical sales data and market trends to forecast demand.
  • Collaborate with sales, data and marketing teams to develop accurate demand forecasts.
  • Monitor inventory levels and optimize inventory management practices.
  • Ensure adequate stock levels to meet customer demands while minimizing excess inventory.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and aid commercial team in supplier relationships.
  • Coordinate logistics activities, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Work with operations teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
  • Identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain.
  • Utilize supply chain management software and tools to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Stay updated on new technologies and trends in supply chain management.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in supply chain software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, advanced Excel, data visualization tools).
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Experience in various aspects of the supply chain to provide a well-rounded understanding.
  • Ability to manage projects and lead cross-functional teams.
