Trans Mountain is seeking a collaborative, motivated, and values driven individual to join our dynamic team as a Supply Chain Analyst. As the Supply Chain Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity, compliance, and effectiveness of Trans Mountain’s supply chain processes. This position is responsible for supporting the sustainment of key enterprise applications for SCM, development, implementation, and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs), generating insightful reports, and maintaining robust governance frameworks to support decision-making and continuous improvement within the supply chain. You will also work closely with various internal stakeholders, including procurement, operations, and finance teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of procurement and supply chain policies, procedures, and controls to ensure adherence to relevant regulations, internal standards, and best practices. Conduct training sessions on contracting, procurement, supply chain-focused processes within enterprise applications, and other supply chain strategies, procedures, and initiatives.
• Identifying and recommending improvements to contracting and procurement processes to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and control within the supply chain.
• Support both internal and external audits of procurement and supply chain processes, ensuring compliance with regulations and aiding in the implementation of corrective action plans when necessary.
• Provide end user support for supply chain processes managed within the contract management system (Ivalua), ERP (D365) and project management system (Omega 365).
• Work with IT, Finance, and other SCM stakeholders on enhancements to enterprise applications to improve work efficiency, data quality, Source to Pay (S2P) processes, and reporting.
• Collaborate with Contract Specialists to gather data, understand business requirements, and support the creation of sourcing, contracting, and procurement strategies.
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess supply chain performance, identify trends, and pinpoint areas for improvement and cost savings, efficiency enhancements, and risk mitigation.
• Generate regular and ad-hoc reports on supply chain performance, risk exposure, and compliance status to aid management in their review and decision-making processes.
• Responsible for supporting the establishment, coordination, and sustainment of a SCM Cost Savings program, including implementation, validation and reporting of cost reductions and cost avoidances.

Qualifications and Professional Experience

• Post secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related discipline.
• Designation/Certification, such as Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) or Commercial & Contract Management (CCM) preferred
• 6-9 years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on governance, systems, reporting, and data analysis.
• Strong understanding of supply chain principles, processes, and best practices.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI).
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g. D365) is an asset.
• Proficiency with contract lifecycle management and/or Source to Pay systems (e.g. Ivalua) is an asset.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements (e.g., SOX) is an asset.
• Experience in the energy or pipeline industry is a plus .
