1.0 Objectif

4.0 Qualifications

Our client, a multinational company in the Aviation industry, located in the south shore(Longueuil) of Montreal is looking for an experienced Bilingual Account Specialist. Please note that this is a full time contract and working on site in Longueuil, QC.

1.0 Purpose

This document defines the responsibilities and qualifications needed to perform job responsibilities and duties for a Kelly Services Account Specialist.

2.0 Scope

The scope of this position will encompass the responsibilities of all Full Time Kelly Services employees working as an Account Specialist.

3.0 Responsibilities

General responsibilities of the position :

The Account Specialist is responsible for ensuring an uninterrupted flow of parts to production while meeting specific quality, delivery, and contractual requirements. This role involves managing supplier relationships, leading business reviews, and coordinating improvement plans.

In addition to :

  • Build strong relationships with internal suppliers.
  • Lead regular business reviews with suppliers to enable efficient two-way communication.
  • Monitor supplier performance using existing tools and support organizations (e.g., Quality, Engineering, Technical Teams), and coordinate improvement plans with suppliers.
  • Manage supplier key performance indicators using existing tools.
  • Identify risks, build strategic plans in collaboration with suppliers, and communicate with senior leadership at regular intervals.
  • Lead delivery assurance reviews and represent the team in shortage meetings.

Specific responsibilities of the position :

  • Develop and implement processes and tools for supplier management.
  • Ensure business continuity and improvement actions are taken.
  • Manage escalations as required to support delivery to customers.
  • Drive for on-time delivery and find solutions for overdue orders.
  • Contribute to customer satisfaction and financial targets.

4.0 Qualifications

Qualifications required (English) :

  • University diploma (preferred) in Supply Management, Commerce, Industrial Engineering, or similar fields.
  • Ability to propose new and creative solutions.
  • Superior customer service skills and ability to exceed expectations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead by influence and collaborate effectively.
  • Customer-focused with a strong sense of business acumen.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good knowledge of systems and Material Requirements Planning (MRP). SAP knowledge is an asset.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

This role will be an on-site work environment, where you work from the office.

6.0 Safety
