Brandt Tractor Ltd. in Vernon is seeking a Foreman for our Construction & Forestry location. You will organize daily work, oversee Service Technicians, ensure quality, mentor staff, and maintain an on-call field schedule to support customers and operators.

The role requires a Certified Journeyman in heavy equipment trade, experience in service, and leadership ability; forklift licensing is a plus. Strong organizational skills and after-hours availability are essential.

Formación

• Previous mechanical experience in a heavy equipment environment is an asset.
• Certified Journeyman in the Heavy Duty Equipment technician trade or equivalent designated trade.
• Experience in a service department setting.
• Familiarity with John Deere and competitive products preferred.
• Forklift license preferred.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills required.
• Candidates must be willing to be available after-hours.
• Ability to lead others.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Responsible for the organization of the work performed as well as quality control

• Commitment to customer service, service excellence and ability to communicate and work effectively with customers, the service team and other branch personnel
• Establish & maintain an on call field schedule
• Converse with the customers & operators on the phone, email or in person
• Manage costs and ensure profitability of the department
• Opening and closing work orders, preparing work orders for warranty

Brandt Tractor Ltd is currently seeking a Foreman reporting to our Vernon Construction & Forestry location.

The successful applicant for this position will be responsible for the daily organization and dispatch of technicians, providing quality repair work for the Vernon Service Department, advising and making recommendations to the Service Manager regarding technician skills and training needs.
