Pursuit Collection in Banff is seeking a hands-on Retail Supervisor to manage daily storefront operations, cash handling, and guest service excellence. You’ll supervise frontline staff, train on POS and reservation systems, and align displays with seasonal promotions.

• Track sales trends and identify best-selling products.
• Set up attractive displays to support cross-selling and promos.
• Keep the center clean, accessible, organized, and stocked.
• Supervise and coach front-line associates.
• Train staff on POS, reservation systems, PAC knowledge, guest engagement, and safety.
• Drive team performance around sales targets.
• Monitor cashouts and submit shift reconciliations.
• Create and submit daily cash deposits.
• Assist with schedule creation.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee daily opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and register reconciliation

• Keep up to date with Pursuit BJC attractions policy and information, and communicate important updates with the team

• Serve as the primary point of contact for team support, coverage, guest inquiries, and customer service escalations

• Assist with re-ordering, receiving, pricing, and visual merchandising of retail products

• Work with the Manager to track sales trends, and identify best-selling products

• Assist with setting up attractive retail displays that encourage cross-selling and align with seasonal promotions

• Ensure the center remains clean, accessible, well-organized, and stocked

• Supervise and coach front-line associates

• Train new staff on point-of-sale (POS) systems, reservation systems, PAC knowledge, guest engagement techniques, and store safety

• Work with the Manager to drive team performance around sales targets

• Monitor daily cashouts and submit shift reconciliations

• Create and submit daily cash deposits

• Assist with schedule creation

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITES:

• Building relationships and collaborating with other BJC departments

• Assist manager with staff event planning, and the planning and delivery of seasonal training sessions (PAC & retail)

• Assist manager with onboarding of seasonal staff members

• Assist manager in creating, delivering and maintaining SOP’s

• Assist with the planning and delivery of future projects

• Make operational decisions as needed when the Manager is away

• Cover floor shifts as needed

The starting wage for this role is $22/hour.
