Job summary

Nutrien is seeking a Supervisor, Mine Operations at Vanscoy, Saskatchewan. This role reports to the Mine Production General Foreman and leads a crew to safely execute underground mining activities at the Vanscoy operation.

The ideal candidate holds Grade 12 and Underground Mine Supervisor Certification, demonstrates commitment to safety, inclusion, and teamwork, and brings strong leadership and conflict-resolution skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop, coach and manage performance of workers.
• Address concerns from team, mine shift supervisor and GF.

What You'll Do:

This position reports to the Mine Production General Foreman.

This person is responsible for: Ensuring that work is safely executed following Nutien’s Culture of Care and Core Values.

This position is in Vanscoy, Saskatchewan, Canada and is not available for remote work.

• Maintain safe working conditions by identifying hazardous conditions and initiating corrective action
• Understand and comply with the Company Code of Ethics
• Comply with and maintain current knowledge of the Collective Bargaining Agreement, Company Policies and Procedures, and Rules and
• Regulations
• Lead and support investigations for underground safety incidents and production loss incidents
• Plan responsibilities and work assignments for team and set expectations for team
• Develop, coach, and manage performance of workers
• Follow up on concerns and questions brought forward by the team, mine shift supervisor and GF

• Underground Mine Supervisor Certification following Saskatchewan Mining Regulations is required
