Job summary

What You'll Do

• Supervise performance, provide mentoring, and guide approximately 35 hourly mine shift operator.
• Provide safety guidance and ensure compliance with all safety and work space rules and procedures.
• Close interaction with the Maintenance, Planning and Engineering Departments to safely and efficiently utilized available resources to meet daily production goals.

What You'll Bring

• Grade 12 or equivalent required.
• 5 years potash mining experience and/or Saskatchewan underground supervisor certification required.
• Mine Operations (potash) experience preferred.
• Supervisory experience in a unionized environment preferred.
• Demonstrated guidance and interpersonal skills. Ability to engage and inspire; educate and mentor.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety.
• Computer proficiency.
• Mine Rescue certification, and involvement in OH&S and exposure based safety programs are assets.
