Join to apply for the Supervisor, Maintenance, Overnight role at Coca-Cola Canada Bottling Limited

Shift: 4x12 hour shifts followed by an 8 hour shift, then 4 consecutive days off. Timing: 6pm-6am.

About This Opportunity

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor will manage the Maintenance department to ensure the efficiency of high-quality production at the lowest cost, while meeting customer demands.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure all facility equipment is maintained to company standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal and provincial regulations, along with company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor the Quality Index (QI) daily and recommend solutions to quality issues.
  • Develop and analyze budgets versus forecasts, reporting monthly or as needed.
  • Conduct scheduled meetings (department, safety).
  • Develop workforce through supervision, coaching, and training.
  • Ensure effective communication of plans and strategies throughout the department.
  • Review, modify, and approve departmental scheduling issues.
  • Review and approve contractors’ forms.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in a Maintenance/manufacturing unionized environment supervising a team.
  • Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or High Volume Manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of GMP’s, Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA), and WHMIS.
  • Millwright or Electrical certification preferred.
  • Intermediate skills in computer and database applications such as SAP.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing systems.
  • Experience in the Beverage and Food Manufacturing sector is an asset.
