Position Overview

The GTA Plant Supervisor will oversee operations at multiple plants within the GTA, ensuring safety, efficiency, and high employee morale. This role collaborates closely with management to meet operational targets.

  • Supervise several plants, managing both unionized and non-unionized workforces
  • Support labor relations, including maintaining collective agreements and managing grievances
  • Coordinate production, storage, and distribution activities according to policies
  • Manage customer and internal relationships
  • Plan and organize concrete batching and deliveries
  • Implement and enforce environmental, health & safety, and quality policies
  • Perform concrete testing as per CSA & ASTM standards
  • Complete documentation and reporting
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • At least two years of post-secondary education (college or university)
  • Experience in ready-mix or similar industry is an asset
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills
  • Proficiency with Windows, Word, Excel
  • Ability to travel frequently, including overnight stays
  • Valid G Class license with a clean 3-year driving record
