Job summary

Qualifications

  • College diploma in Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in personnel management is an asset.
  • Proficiency with Excel and computer systems.
  • Bilingual French and English (oral and written) required.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the work planning of the team by coordinating the shifts to guarantee continuous operation of the truck loading ramp.
  • Communicate daily with the team; set objectives, guide and define action plans.
  • Serve as a resource for the loading ramp operating system (Toptech) and ensure product quality.
  • Ensure compliance with procedures for control and operation of the loading ramp and deliveries.
  • Analyze ramp system interruptions and coordinate corrective actions with involved parties.

Role

The purpose of the Ramp Supervisor position is to ensure the reliable, safe and continuous operation of this critical infrastructure essential to the supply of our markets. Reporting to the Manager Operations, Pipeline & Terminals the Supervisor will be responsible for managing a team of four employees assigned to the tanker loading ramp.

The supervisor will have to adopt a mobilizing approach in order to engage his team and promote a positive synergy between the different stakeholders. In this sense, he will have to make the most of his management, problem solving and coordination skills. He will act as a resource for the operations and management systems related to the loading ramp.

The incumbent will monitor the loading ramp operating system. He will also identify opportunities for improvement, develop and implement solutions to optimize the efficiency, reliability or safety of loading ramp operations.

Responsabilities
  • Ensure the work planning of the team by coordinating the shifts of the attendants in order to ensure a continuous operation of the truck loading ramp.
  • Communicate on a daily basis with his team; set objectives, guide and define action plans.
  • Ensure product quality is maintained by acting as a resource person for the loading ramp operating system (Toptech).
  • Ensure compliance with operational procedures for control and operation of the loading ramp and deliveries.
  • Analyze the interruptions of the different systems of the ramp and coordinate the corrective actions with the intervening parties in an efficient way.
  • Perform various administrative tasks related to invoicing, periodic reporting, volume reconciliations, etc.
  • Coordinate various transportation movements, including the mobilization of tanker to support maintenance and operational activities.
  • Manage access to the loading ramps and monitor compliance by carriers and authorized users.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for exchange partners regarding operational requirements, access requests, account updates, and service interruptions.
  • Ensure data accuracy and the effective operation of Toptech and SAP systems by performing required monitoring, reconciliations, and corrective actions
Qualifications
  • College diploma in Business Administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in personnel management, a major asset
  • Proficiency with various computer systems, particularly Excel
  • Ability to work under pressure and adaptability
  • Ability to coordinate interactions between different stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Bilingualism in French and English (oral and written
