Job summary

Nordik Spa Village in Chelsea, QC is seeking a part-time Housekeeping Supervisor for 24–30 hours per week. You will supervise the housekeeping team, inspect facilities, and help plan shifts to ensure smooth operations while upholding high cleanliness standards.

The role requires a High School Diploma, knowledge of housekeeping techniques, and leadership abilities. You will work on-site in a dynamic outdoor environment and may interact with suppliers and train staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (HSD).
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite programs.
• Knowledge of housekeeping techniques.
• Experience in housekeeping supervision; an asset.
• Leadership and organizational skills.
• Ability to solve problems quickly and integrate safe work procedures.
• Physical fitness: ability to work many hours on your feet and lift heavy loads (≈50 pounds).
• Ability to work in a noisy, hot and/or cold outdoor environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the work of team members by making regular rounds during shifts and correct as needed.
• Inspect premises, lodges and facilities to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
• Assist in management of schedules and shift planning.
• Communicate equipment and maintenance product needs to team.
• Control and plan inventories for the department.

• Communicate with suppliers in case of issues; ensure company policies are followed.
• Carry out other related tasks.

NORDIK SPA VILLAGE CHELSEA, Chelsea, QC, CA

Reporting to the Manager of Housekeeping, the Housekeeping Supervisor performs various tasks related to the management of the Housekeeping team using safe work methods. He/she will supervise the work of other members periodically during the shift. In addition, he/she will coordinate and plan the activities of his/her team to ensure the smooth running of the shifts.

What you will do

• Supervise the work of the team members by making regular rounds during the shifts and make corrections if necessary;
• Inspect the premises as well as the lodges and facilities to ensure compliance with the norms and standards of cleanliness in effect;
• Participate in the management of schedules and planning of shifts.
• Communicates equipment and maintenance product needs to his/her team;
• Control and ensure the planning of the inventories of his department;
• Participate in the training and integration of new employees;
• Communicate with our suppliers in case of problematic situations;
• Communicate with our suppliers in case of problematic situations; Ensure the application and respect of the company's policies;
• Carry out all other related tasks.

Profile required
