Job summary

Whistler Olympic Park, part of Whistler Sport Legacies, is hiring a Supervisor, Guest Services to lead the Guest Services and campground teams year-round. Reporting to the Manager, Guest Services, you will coordinate guest-facing operations and deliver exceptional visitor experiences at the Whistler Olympic Park in Callaghan Valley, BC.

This full-time, regular position requires evening and weekend availability, a valid BC driver's license, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience in guest services, recreation or hospitality.
• Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills with ability to motivate a team.
• Strong organizational and computer skills with scheduling, reservation or POS systems.
• Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment and ability to manage competing priorities.
• A valid Class 5 BC driver's license and reliable transportation; transit is not available.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and outdoors in varying weather.
• Experience in recreation, campground, rental or retail operations; recreation or hospitality management qualification is a plus.
• Criminal record check required upon hire.

• Work with other departments to ensure facilities, guest areas and campground operations are safe, welcoming and well maintained.
• Assist with events, program promotion and administrative activities while maintaining a safety-focused team environment.

Work in one of the most beautiful outdoor recreation settings in Whistler.

Whistler Olympic Park (WOP) is a world-class Nordic sport and recreation venue located in the Callaghan Valley, just south of Whistler. Originally built for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, the park offers cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and other winter activities, as well as summer recreation and campground experiences.

Please note that reliable transportation is required to successfully work at Whistler Olympic Park. Our beautiful location is not serviced by public transit.

We are currently hiring a Supervisor, Guest Services to support the year-round delivery of our guest services, recreational programs and campground operations. Reporting to the Manager, Guest Services, this role provides daily leadership to the Guest Services team, coordinates guest-facing operations and helps ensure an exceptional experience for every visitor.

What You’ll Do

What You Bring

• Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment and the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment.
• A valid Class 5 BC driver's license and reliable transportation, as Whistler Olympic Park is not serviced by public transit.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Experience in recreation, campground, rental or retail operations, knowledge of Nordic sports, and a Recreation or Hospitality Management qualification are considered assets.
• A satisfactory criminal record check is required upon hire.
