Qualifications

• Oversee daily fund accounting operations and ensure timely client deliverables.
• Manage and support external audit processes.

Benefits & Perks

• Compensation: $80,000 - $85,000 CAD + annual performance-based bonus
• This role is hybrid at the client's downtown Toronto, ON office (8 times a month)
• Permanent, full-time position with benefits

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly Net Asset Value (NAV) reports, including reconciliations, accruals, and financial statements
• Oversee daily fund accounting operations and ensure timely client deliverables
• Coordinate new fund setups and client transitions
• Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Tax, Investor Relations) to support fund activities
• Manage and support external audit processes
• Serve as a key contact for client inquiries and provide accounting guidance
• Review fund documents such as partnership agreements and offering memorandums
• Supervise and support team members to ensure high-quality work

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
• 3+ years of experience in hedge fund or investment fund accounting
• CPA, CFA, or similar designation (completed or in progress preferred)
• Strong knowledge of investment products, including derivatives
• Experience reviewing financial deliverables and managing small teams
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office tools
• Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
