Job summary

Twin Rivers Pulp Ltd. in Edmundston, NB, seeks a Supervisor Fuel Yard to lead the biomass handling in the site's production area.

You will plan, coordinate and supervise the Fuel Yard, Chipping and Ground Wood activities, while safeguarding a safe work environment and ensuring environmental targets are met. The ideal candidate has a technical or mechanical background, 5+ years of supervisory experience in production, and the ability to organize under pressure.

Qualifications

• Degree / Trade: Preferably in technical, mechanical, or forestry discipline.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience in production or manufacturing environment.
• Any other combination of training and relevant experience may be considered.
• Bilingualism is an asset (French and English).

Responsibilities

• Promote and ensure a safe work environment with employee participation.
• Plan, prioritize, coordinate, supervise, and review activities in the Fuel Yard, Chipping, and Ground Wood.
• Control operational activities while respecting environmental targets.
• Ensure unloading of Biomass and Chips is done in a safe and efficient manner.
• Coordinate and organize priorities effectively.
• Continually assess operational parameters with target KPI intervals.
• Work with operation staff to optimize costs and maintain quality.
• Ensure operation stability.
• Training and development of team members.
