Job summary

GDI Services (Canada) LP is seeking an on-site Janitorial Supervisor in Fredericton to oversee, train, and direct the janitorial staff, ensuring safety and that the customer’s quality expectations are met or exceeded.

The role requires hands-on leadership, shift designations, inspection of work, and timely reporting to management; candidates should have strong attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of janitorial supervisory experience.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to show judgment and to work independently.
• High integrity required.
• Must pass a Criminal Background Check.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train the janitorial staff on site.
• Designate shift and area work assignments.
• Manage employee relations or performance issues promptly.
• Document and report to management or HR.
• Inspect the jobsite regularly and report quality concerns.
• Identify and request any special project work.
• Respond quickly to customer concerns or complaints.
• Enforce safety policies and report incidents.
• Complete required training courses.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Summary

Oversee, train, and direct the janitorial staff on site to ensure that all employees are kept safe and the customer’s quality expectations are met or exceeded.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to

• Supervise and train the work of the janitorial staff on site.
• Designate shift and area work assignments.
• Manage and employee relations or performance issues quickly and appropriately.
• Document and report to management or HR.
• Inspect the jobsite regularly to identify any quality concerns or project work needed; complete and submit inspection reports.
• Identify and communicate the need for any special project work to management.
• Respond quickly and appropriately to all customer concerns or complaints.
• Enforce all safety policies and procedures; immediately report and investigate accidents.
• Complete training courses as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High integrity required.
