Job summary

Monarch House in Toronto area seeks a part-time Supervised Instructor Therapist (ABA) to deliver intensive ABA therapy for clients with Autism Spectrum Disorders. You will work with an interdisciplinary team, collect data, and maintain documentation while traveling to in-home and community sessions within a 30-minute radius.

Some weekend availability is required. The role emphasizes hands-on therapy, family collaboration, and ongoing training in a supportive environment with advancement

Qualifications

  • Positive attitude and organizational skills.
  • Willing to complete Criminal record check with Vulnerable Sector Screening.
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada.
  • Access to a reliable vehicle for daily use.
  • Experience delivering services in home and community.
  • Willingness to travel to in-home/community sessions, including weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and conduct comprehensive ABA therapy sessions.
  • Collect and graph data to monitor progress.
  • Maintain client binders and materials.
  • Record daily written communications with family and staff.
  • Demonstrate therapy sessions to families and professionals.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and adhere to Centre policies.
  • Attend training sessions and events as scheduled.
  • Support clients with personal care tasks as needed.

Job description

As aSupervised Instructor Therapist (ABA) on our team, you are an integral part of our specialized services for clients with Autism Spectrum Disorders or other developmental disabilities. You will work with an interdisciplinary team of experts to support your clients in achieving their goals. Our commitment to excellence goes beyond the way we serve our communities. Please note that we do not offer LMIA or independent contractor setup
Employment setup:Part-time. Hourly.
Salary: $21-23/hr
Work setting: Community based in Toronto/North York area. Travel is required.
Headcount: 2

Schedule:
Mondays - Saturdays, between 9AM - 7PM EST (schedule based on client availability)

Take an inside look at what you will do each day:
  • Prepare and conduct comprehensive (intensive) ABA therapy sessions
  • Collect and graph data
  • Maintain client binders and materials
  • Maintain daily written communication logs with family and other staff
  • Demonstrate therapy sessions to families and other professionals as required
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team
  • Uphold Centre policies and procedures
  • Attend training sessions, workshops, online courses, etc. as set out by Monarch House
  • Attend Monarch House social and public events
  • Support clients with personal care tasks such as dressing, toileting, and eating
Here is what you will need to be successful

  • Access to a reliable vehicle for daily use
  • Available for hourly shifts that can build to full time
  • Currently hiring to build capacity for intake inquiries (i.e., slow schedule build)
  • Experience delivering services in home and community
  • Ability to travel to in home sessions or community sessions up to a 30min radius from center.
  • Willingness to travel for in-home/community sessions, including availability on weekends as needed.
