Job description

As aSupervised Instructor Therapist (ABA)on our team, you are an integral part of our specialized services for clients with Autism Spectrum Disorders or other developmental disabilities. You will work with an interdisciplinary team of experts to support your clients in achieving their goals. Our commitment to excellence goes beyond the way we serve our communities. Job Type: Part-time, contract, temporary. Hourly
Job setting: Community-based. Travel is required.

Schedule:varied hours

Take an inside look at what you will do each day:

  • Prepare and conduct comprehensive (intensive) ABA therapy sessions
  • Collect and graph data
  • Maintain client binders and materials
  • Maintain daily written communication logs with family and other staff
  • Demonstrate therapy sessions to families and other professionals as required
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team
  • Uphold Centre policies and procedures
  • Attend training sessions, workshops, online courses, etc. as set out by Monarch House
  • Attend Monarch House social and public events

Here is what you will need to be successful

  • Positive attitude, organized, and passion for learning
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certificationor willingness to complete training for RBT certification (within 3 mos.)
  • Willing to complete Criminal record check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
  • Must be open to 2-3 evening shifts a week
  • Must be open to travelling and have access to a reliable vehicle as needed
