Role Summary

The Aptitude Superintendent 2 will manage and execute more complex projects related to intelligent integration. This position will be responsible for managing Aptitude Intelligent trade partners, planning all construction sequencing, and meeting project goals to achieve timely and profitable completion of each project. All activities will support JE Dunn's strategy, vision, and values.

Key Role Responsibilities - Core

• Leads all aspects of the company's safety culture, demonstrating commitment to an injury-free environment.
• Responsible for all client and project team communication related to low voltage scopes of work.
• Coordinates technology-related design and construction efforts that meet standards.
• Manages and oversees staff, subcontractors, suppliers, and programs such as Safety, Quality, and EEO.
• Develops work plans, manages project schedules, and monitors budgets.
• Ensures quality compliance and supports project closeouts.
• Participates in project pursuits and pre-planning.
• Partners with leadership for workforce and project management.
• Promotes diversity and inclusion within JE Dunn.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Understanding of low voltage technology systems.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and construction technology.
• Ability to manage budgets, risks, and project schedules.
• Knowledge of blueprint reading and document management.

Education

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of construction experience.
• Experience with Division 8/23/25/27/28 systems preferred.
• Field supervision and project management experience required.

Working Environment

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Travel and/or relocation may be required.
• Exposure to extreme conditions and non-traditional hours.
