Job summary

Magil Construction is seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead operations in London, Kitchener, Cambridge, Guelph and surrounding areas on high-rise projects. This full-time, permanent position calls for strong leadership, scheduling expertise, and hands-on site management.

You will oversee trades, safety, quality, and closeout, review drawings, coordinate RFIs, and collaborate with project managers, consultants and clients across Ontario. Willingness to travel is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience as a Construction Superintendent on high-rise projects.
• Experience completing at least one high-rise project from mobilization through occupancy and closeout.
• Strong knowledge of concrete high-rise construction, sequencing and trade coordination.
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of the Ontario Building Code, Occupational Health and Safety Act and applicable regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 5 - 10 years of site supervision experience (or similar)
• Knowledge of construction disciplines, safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, quality control, engineer drawings and other documents
• Sense of responsibility, initiative and accountability
• Excellent communication skills and a "get 'er done" attitude
• Ability to travel a must
