As an experienced Superintendent - Anaerobic Digestion Facility Construction in the Operations team at Pomerleau Construction, you will support project growth, oversee large-scale building and infrastructure projects ranging from $1.5 million to over $1 billion. You will collaborate with the project management team, clients, and subcontractors to ensure project success through leadership, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality, safety, and environmental standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily on-site construction activities, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and suppliers to maintain workflow and resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and regulations.
• Monitor installation of process piping, gas handling systems, and mechanical equipment.
• Support commissioning and startup activities with project engineers.

Qualifications

This role could be for you if you have:

Preferred Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in industrial or infrastructure construction.
• Background in renewable energy, wastewater, or agricultural infrastructure is a plus.
• Certifications in construction safety (e.g., OSHA, COR) and first aid.
• Proficiency with digital tools like Procore and MS Project.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of process piping, pressurized gas systems, and mechanical installations.
• Experience with anaerobic digestion, biogas, or waste-to-energy facilities is advantageous.
• Familiarity with safety standards and TSSA regulations.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and documents.

Leadership & Field Management

• Ability to lead and motivate field teams and subcontractors.
• Experience in site logistics, material coordination, and scheduling.
• Problem-solving skills for real-time issue resolution.
• Commitment to safety and a productive work environment.

Communication & Coordination

• Effective communication skills for liaising between teams and clients.
• Experience conducting safety briefings and progress meetings.
• Ability to document activities and reports.
