Job summary

Aecon Group Inc. in Canada is hiring a Superintendent to lead and coordinate day-to-day piling and foundation field operations on our projects.

You will oversee crews, plan work, ensure safety, productivity, and compliance with OH&S and company policies. Reporting to the General Superintendent, you will coordinate with subcontractors, engineers and clients to drive key civil works from driven piles to caissons, while maintaining schedules, quality, and cost controls.

What is the Opportunity?

Reporting to the General Superintendent, the Superintendent is responsible for providing leadership, supervision and coordination for day-to-day piling and foundation field operations. This includes planning and executing work related to driven piles, drilled shafts/caissons, shoring, excavation support, concrete foundations and associated civil works, while ensuring the safety and productivity of crews and compliance with OH&S and Company policies, procedures and guidelines. The Superintendent is a key participant in the relationship between the company, the workforce, subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, the client and all other project stakeholders.
