Job description

We are seeking full-time painters for a student painting crew in Northwest Calgary, from the end of April to the end of August. No experience is necessary as training will be provided. Opportunities for advancement into Crew Chief roles, with increased responsibility and pay, are available. Having a car and previous painting or labor experience is advantageous but not required.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Preparing residential and commercial properties for painting/staining
2. Scraping, sanding, glazing, caulking, priming, and masking
3. Painting with brushes, rollers, and sprayers
4. Handling and moving equipment such as ladders and paint sprayers

Compensation:

• Base salary ranges from $20-$24/hr, depending on experience
• Motivated workers can earn over $16,000 this summer, with potential to earn up to $35/hr based on efficiency and performance
• Opportunities for promotion to Crew Chief with higher pay
• Additional earnings through bonuses, tips, and overtime
• Generally a 9 to 5 schedule on weekdays, with weekends and evenings off
