An established educational institution seeks a compassionate Student and Family Counsellor to join a multidisciplinary team. LOCATION: Face-to-face/virtual, Sault Ste. Marie; virtual, North and East communities
ANNUALIZED SALARY: $37.09 per hour
EFFECTIVE DATE: June to August 31, 2024
Under the direction of the Superintendent responsible for special education, summer program administrators, and in consultation with the Mental Health Leader, the Student and Family Counsellor will function as a member of a multidisciplinary team providing support services to students and families through consultation/assessment, crisis intervention, counselling, attendance investigation, community liaison/networking, prevention programming, professional development and child/family advocacy. Students participating in various summer programs, those currently on counsellor caseloads and any students experiencing a crisis during the summer may be provided service.
