Job summary

Prysmian Group is seeking a Production Technician to safely and efficiently operate various manufacturing and distribution processes to meet the company and customer’s expectations for quality and delivery of products.

The role is structured into levels for training and progression, spanning material preparation, rubber handrail and other parts production, splicing, inspection, and finishing tasks. The team emphasizes DEI and a collaborative, disciplined workplace.

Responsibilities

• Operates very complex machinery in the manufacturing and joining of plastic handrails and other parts.
• Maintains equipment as per the preventive maintenance program and disassembles/reassembles dies and extruders for style changes.
• Sets up and operates material preparation machines to slit, cut, extrude, join or pre-assemble rubber or rubberised materials.
• Sets up and operates bending machine and router to prepare brush holders and other parts.
• Packages all finished parts to approved packaging methods and standards.
