Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is hiring a Summer Student Production Associate in St. Thomas, Ontario. In this role, you will support daily operations by assembling and inspecting windows and doors while adhering to safety and quality standards. You will work full-time from May to August, with a starting pay of $22.25/hour and the potential for overtime. Ideal candidates are reliable and eager to learn, with some experience in a physical production environment. Afternoon shifts from 3 PM to 11 PM are available.

Qualifications

• Experience in general labor, construction, or manufacturing is preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and eligible to work in Canada.
• Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, fabricate, and inspect windows and doors.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
• Support production goals and adhere to safety policies.

Skills

General labor experience

Comfortable working in a physically active environment

Experience using hand tools and power tools

Ability to lift and maneuver products

Education

Currently enrolled in a college or university program
